PURPOSE

Seas of shame is a information report and exposition because it informs us and tells us to clean up the rubbish and don’t litter.

I think the documentary was made because the rubbish is killing animals and they need to put a stop to this.

The techniques that they used were they showed the animals that were dieing and showed all the rubbish.

Seas of shame is an exposition and an information report because the writer never put his opinion in the text and the writer wrote cold hard facts that are true.

I think the documentary was made so the writer could tell us what where doing to the sea and the animals that live in it. And it also informs us how and what to do to stop it.

The techniques used in the documentary were they made us feel a little bit guilty because they started to say these pour animals and how where hurting them.

I think the documentary was made to show us how Antarctica is and how the animals survive there. And informs us what we are doing to create what is happening.

The techniques used in the documentary were guilt for what we are creating and how we are going to fix the problem. And also what we have done to the animals.

The documentary was made for families that make lots of rubbish and use lots of plastic bags.

The text is an exposition and a information report because the writer does give cold hard facts.

I think the reason why the documentary was made because they don’t want to dump our rubbish in the water.

They were to show dead animals with plastic bags inside of them and people’s dumping’s on our beaches.

The types of text types are exposition and an information report. It’s exposition because it’s trying to get us to stop buying plastic bags. It’s an information report because it has real facts.

I think it was made to inform us about what were doing to kill our marine life and how they want us to stop.

The techniques used in the documentary are shock and sadness. They use images of them cutting open the turtle and the gross plastic bag.

The mood of the documentary is guilt and serious because the people who posted the text would still want to have sea creatures in the world and not have them choking on a piece of plastic.

The language that is used in the text is formal because it’s telling you factual information about the animals in the sea and what is wrong with them and how we can help.

The documentary Seas Of Shame was made for people who do a lot of shopping and dump their plastic bags. I think it was made for people from rich countries and not from poor countries because they can’t afford plastic bags. I think that people in Australia and America would be the best people to watch this documentary because they are more rich and probably do more of the polluting.

I believe that the documentary Seas of Shame was made because it tells us that we should stop using plastic bags and to stop dumping them in water and killing the animal wildlife in the ocean.

The techniques that the newsreaders showed us are shocking us and making us guilty for what we are doing to the wildlife.

Shocking pictures of them pulling plastic out of a dead turtle. So that makes us fell very guilty because humans are the ones doing it.
They have pictures of piles and piles of rubbish in the water and on the sand of the beaches.

The texts used in the documentary “Seas Of Shame’’ are an exposition and an information report.

I think the documentary was made so that people would think twice next time they drop their rubbish on the ground for the animals to eat.

Some of the techniques that the documentary used were sadness, guilt and sorrow. They use these techniques so that we try harder to do what they are trying to tell us.

I think the documentary was made for people who just drop their rubbish on the ground. Most of these people are rich people because they can afford lots of things and chuck out lots of money. These people can also be the people who are doing a bad job of putting the garbage in the bin.

Purpose

The purpose of this video/movie is to make us think and be cautious of all the plastic we as humans use in a life time and the affect on all of the animals.

The text used in this movie/video is true and is not made up and they have researched all of their information and it provides cold hard facts and they haven’t made things up in the video/movie.

The movie/video gives people a shock because of all the plastic that is in marine life and it is terrible how mach plastic is coming out of the turtle.

Purpose

The video seas of shame is an information report and an exposition because it has real
information and it is not made up. It has cold and hard facts. It has lots of information and it gets the message across.

I think the documentary (Seas of Shame) was made to tell us to take care of our environment because if we drop our rubbish it goes straight to our oceans and is killing our animals that live in the oceans. They want us to stop polluting. They want us to put a stop to this and help save the lives of our animals.

The type of techniques that were used in the documentary (Seas of Shame) were serious. It also had sad emotions too.

The documentary was made for all humans and definitely for the people who use plastic bags .

Kate said...

Purpose

The type of text used in the documentary was an exposition and an information report. An information report is a report that tells you real facts about the report. An exposition is something that warns you not to not to do, like not polluting.

I think the documentary was made to tell people to be aware that the plastic bags they use destroys animals lives that we are putting in risk. It also tells you cold hard facts.

The techniques used in the information report/ exposition were to show what happens to the animals in the ocean after the plastic bags are eaten on where it gets trapped in the animal.

Audience

The documentary was made for the people who are polluting our natured areas and our ocean nature. Because the plastic pollution and other pollutions are killing a lot of our water life animals.

Tone/mood

The mood of the documentary is formal because it is a shocking, sad and hurtful, documentary. It is also a serious documentary because you need to watch out for the things you are doing.

I have learnt from this video that the plastic that we put in the bin is affecting our nature and destroying the amount of animals that can be at risk of instinction of the animals.
I think the documentary is very effective because it made me notice that when i put a plastic bag in the bin it effects the turtles e.t.c.

Purpose

In the Seas of Shame they used 2 text types 1 was information report because they had real facts and they also used an exposition because they were trying to get people not to pollute because it is killing lots of animals.

The documentary was made to get people to stop polluting by showing the people who watch the documentary how the animals are dying and what we need to do to save them.

The people who made the documentary used techniques like shocking scenes for example they had a scene when they looked inside a turtles stomach and showed us the plastic it had eaten.
